Established in July 2000 as a spin-off from the French National Genotyping
Center, Integragen specializes in detection of genes associated with complex genetic diseases.
Thanks to a novel technology platform named GenomeHIP, the company is able to perform
rapid and precise identification of small chromosomal segments likely to contain genes at the origin
of complex genetic diseases.
Integragen is running two programs (autism and Type II diabetes) and offers pharmaceutical
and biotech companies access to its technology platform in other therapeutic domains.
Integragen currently sells in-licensed molecular diagnostic tests for MODY and hyper-insulinemia.
It will start the commercialisation of its own tests for autism in 2007.
In addition, Integragen has developed proprietary DNA chips which it sells on the R&D market.
