We make early commitments to start-up companies with high growth potential, active in Biotechnology and/or Life Sciences.

We generally invest in the first institutional round of financing (serie A) and participate in subsequent rounds.

Bioam invests alongside French or foreign co-investors.

We invest in France and in Europe, and typically take a board seat as part of the investments. We believe that it is critical to be an active investor by providing strategic advice as well as assistance in the development of our portfolio companies.

The total commitment per company may reach €5 million.
